Thought I would pass along word on the new double DVD
Barry Manilow that I just bought! It’s called, “First
and Farewell”. It covers material and live footage
spanning Barry's career from the early 70's till now!
I've never seen this stuff before, and I can't believe
they still have it, like Barry's first tour rehearsals
from Carroll's studio in 1974. He even has a medley
performance of the commercial jingles he has written,
like Dr Pepper, Pepsi, and McDonald's. The second DVD
is Barry's farewell tour stop in Anaheim. It has some
info for it on his site (www.manilow.com), as well as
a look here:
