Thank you all for your prayers and responses during the transplant
process on Thursday and for your continued participation in this prayer
chain.
Beth's transplant went well and Dave & the kids were able to be there
and pray with her while her medical team took care of the technical
transfer. One of the Doctors said "Happy Birthday, Beth" because she
really is starting over with a whole new immune system now.
I visited with her on Saturday and she was looking really good.
Everyone has to wear masks and gloves to go into her room but she said
she can still have cards so I was hoping you could send her some online
birthday cards to help celebrate her "new life" that the stemcells
represent.
If you could send me a copy of what you send to her I'll be able to
print them out and we can decorate her room with them. She'll get a
double blessing from them by getting them delivered to her email inbox
and getting to hold them and read them again before we put them up
around her room.
She will have to stay in the hospital for the next 3-5 weeks so this
will be a nice way for her to not get bored with her surroundings. ;-)
You can send them to her at bethbeguerie2@... and send a copy
to me at lyninvenice@... at the same time. And you can always
send her a traditional card to the hospital, also. It doesn't just
have to be a GET WELL card, now, it can also be a HAPPY BIRTHDAY card.

Thanks again. You guys are awesome prayer warriors and I know God is
hearing our prayers and working His will in this situation.
God Bless you all,
Lyn
