The Drums....   Message List

I remember Tanner's drums, man! They were wild! I think they were
like red and yellow, and both of the toms that usually sit on top of
the bass drum were raised really high on these "stilts" (best word I
can think of for em! :) and the heads were turned straight to face
him instead of upward like normal drums. I figure it was just to be
different, but it was cool. I also remember the bass player was
barefoot and wore some funky clothes. I loved Czenk's guitar, too. A
metallic blue Strat with a white pickguard. It was really sweet.
Ummm...what else? I hope no one gets offended when I say this, but
when the Counting Crowes first came out, I thought their singer
sounded sorta like the guy from UROK, but I listened some more and
realized what a pussy the CC guy is, and that there was no way it was
the UROK guy :) I was glad, because CC sucks.
Anyway, I apologize for going on and on and on, but I haven't been
able to speak of these things with anyone, because no one else I know
(besides my schoolmates) has ever heard of them. It's like I found a
new community or something, and I'm happy to share my memories with
whoever will listen.
Rock on, guys. You are okay :)
