Helen has a date in OH in October... that is about as far North East
as she is booked right now. New dates are added often to her
appearances page of her website... www.helencornelius.net

i had seen Jan Howard years ago backstage at the Opry, and met her
in May at the Missouri Country Music Hall of Fame induction, but had
never met Jeannie Seely before... what a hoot! and she is so darned
adorable!

just a closer walk
i think i've forgotten one... hmmmmm... shelly, you were there,
help me out!
after all had done their show, everyone came back out for a gospel
medley... made a great finale!
they were putting on a production of South Pacific at the
ampitheatre, so the photos look like they are on some tropical
island, with the palm trees in the background! i've posted the
photos over at helen's site, www.helencornelius.net
helen had her new cd with her, which sold very well... i have those
over at the website too... almost out of them already, but i'll get
more in a few weeks, when i see Helen in IA.
i am so thankful that she is performing in my area a LOT this year!
it was nice to meet you last night. If you send me a copy of the
picture you had taken with helen, jan and jeannie, i'll put it on
helen's website... send it to webmaster@...
thanks! :o)

Just wanted to let everyone know that the date has been changed again
for this show in September. It's back on Thursday, Sept. 15 @
7:30pm. It'll be at the Ryman. I believe the date is firm now... as
they are finally selling tickets.
Lots of confusion surrounding the date, but I have heard the show is
really awesome... so, hope everyone is still able to make it!

Helen has a daughter, Christy and a son, Denny... and one grandson
Ross, who belongs to Denny and his wife. (they sent some adorable
photos of Ross's 1st birthday party, which I have posted at Helen's
website www.helencornelius.net)
Helen is not currently married...
see ya in a few weeks in IN.

Hi,
Well that's a hard one. I would have to agree that My Heart, My Soul..is
wonderful. I think it gives you a true picture of how talented Helen is. I would
also like to have On The Road with...I played that albun so many times. I have
always thought On The Road would be a good Cd for Helen to sell at shows. I
wonder if we could convince Helen to rerelease either album. ;-)
Mike
you could have any of Helen's albums, or cassettes on CD which would
you choose?
One of my favorites, that is wearing out is My Heart, My Soul, My
Music. Helen is such a talented writer and this cassette is proof of
that!

Hey Shelly-
I'll be there. I'll be selling Helen's product. Be sure to say hi!

Hi Susan,
Thanks so much for posting the set list. I really miss getting to see
Helen in concert. We went from 8-10 shows a year to nothing for the
last two years. I may go into withdrawals!;-)
I also glad to hear that another single is being considered for
release. My biggest hope is this success will get Helen back in the
studio.
Best Always,
Mike
I am going to the July 22 Concert in Indiana, This will be the first
time I will see the grand ladies together in person.....Anyone else
going???

"Friday night a couple requested that Helen and Jim Ed do God Gave Me
You, because they had it sung at their wedding."
God Gave Me You was sung at the couple's wedding, not at Jim Ed and
Helen's wedding. Jim Ed and Helen are NOT married to each other!
Never have been.

Wanted to give a short report from this past weekend. Helen and Jim
Ed were in Rockford, IL on Friday night, and in Wisconsin Dells on
Saturday night.
Friday's crowd was great! I did not write down the songs for that
show. However, I did write down the song list for Saturday's show
in Wisconsin.
**Helen**
Ashes of Love (I really like this song and am glad Helen is doing it
again!)
Blue Bayou
Long Gone Lonesome Blues
I'm Not Lisa (Helen at the piano)
The Rose (also done at the piano)
Paper Roses (this was a request)
Just A Closer Walk
**Helen and Jim Ed**
Don't Bother to Knock
Morning Comes Too Early
Rockin' Years (still think this version is better than Dolly and RVS)
Fools
Have I Told You Lately That I Love You
Couple of Dreamers
I'm Leavin' It Up To You
The Door Is Always Open
Lyin' In Love With You
I Don't Want To Have To Marry You
You Don't Bring Me Flowers
Friday night a couple requested that Helen and Jim Ed do God Gave Me
You, because they had it sung at their wedding. They did a chorus
of the song since the band hadn't worked it up, and Jim Ed didn't
really remember the words. It was beautiful! And Jim Ed better
learn the words, because word has it this may be the next single
they release! This has always been one of my favorites from
Together Again, so I hope they do release it.
Take care! I'll have another report next month after the Indiana
show with Jeannie Seely and Jan Howard!
Smiles!

I have photos from the Hall of Fame induction posted at Helen's site,
helencornelius.net
It was a wonderful night. Each of the inductees sang a few songs.
Helen sang Lyin' In Love, Blue Bayou, I Don't Want To Have To Marry
You, and I'm Not Lisa. Jan Howard had Helen and Leona Williams come
out when she was onstage to sing "Making Believe".
Helen looked and sounded beautiful. It was a great honor for her, and
I enjoyed meeting the other inductees. Ferlin Husky is a hoot!
Oh, on the merchandise page at Helen's site, there is now a link to
purchase Helen t-shirts and other fun stuff!
Enjoy!

Does anyone remember CMT showing a Video by Helen called "Ask Any
Woman" back in 1989-1990? It was a great song. I never could find it
for sale on audio only. I used to have it on videotape, but the tape
broke. Would love either an audio copy or a copy of the video. Any
help would be appreciated. Thanks.
is moving up the charts! This week it is #45 on the Country top 50
chart.
AND on the Country Indpendent Chart it's #11!!!!!! YAY
Congratulations to Helen and Jim Ed! woooohoooooo

ps. I'm going to MO this weekend for Helen's induction into the MO
Country Music Hall of Fame. I'll post a report next week! (hopefully
some photos too!)
Helen will be inducted into the Missouri Country Music Hall of Fame on
Sunday evening, May 22. For more information, please visit her
website at http://www.helencornelius.net
wooohooo Helen!
please feel free to provide feedback to Yahoo about the new look of
Groups, that popped up overnight, WITHOUT any warning!
Can you tell I am NOT happy?!
I totally HATE the advertisement on the home page! It was bad enough
when it popped up in between messages. And THEY are still there on
EVERY page of messages, and you still sometime have to click past them
to get to the message.
I know ads are necessary to keep the groups free, however they haven't
moved them, they've ADDED MORE!
So, please provide feedback to Yahoo!
I like the new look, not the new ads!
