On Saturday, October 25th, John Williams is going to conduct the Los Angeles
Philamonics on the third day of the 3-day inaugural gala of the new Walt
Disney Hall in Los Angeles. The third day will emphasize on filmmusic, and
John Williams is expected to conduct to classic film music as well as the
world premiere Soundings, one of his newest work.

At first, I wanted to buy tickets, but the cheapest single-ticket is $1000
(all the way to $5000 for the most expensive seat!!!), so I emailed them
regarding a possible TV broadcast, and they told me that on October 29th,
PBC will broadcast a show that consists of all three days. However, I've
been told by them that it's unlikely that we'll see the concerts in their
entirity as it will be mixed with various other footage about the Disney
Hall. Well, hopefully we'll get to see Williams in concert, so check your
local PBS listing.
