Re: Rogers 35D

Hello Ninotchka

We also have very little
snow. I actually don’t live in Vancouver, but in a
small village about 160 km east of the coast. I show my
location as Vancouver since our village is not even on
most maps and the World can relate to Vancouver. The
elevation here is about 2500 feet, we should have about ten
feet of snow - instead the grass is green. Correction
it was when I started this email this morning. We've
now had had a foot in the last hour and still coming
down. (10:00 p.m. PST)

Thanks for the
information on the Rogers. The 35D I’ve been looking at is an
older model, I believe about mid 70’s. I did go to the
URL (Rogers) that you suggested and sent them an
email. They got back to me this morning suggesting a
dealer near Vancouver, whom I contacted, and he was very
helpful.

If I buy the organ I will be doing a restoration and
he (the dealer) tells me all parts are available.
I’ll let you know how it goes.

I also looked at
the COS, URL. A friend of mine in the Vancouver area
sells them and gave me a demonstration a few weeks ago.
Very impressive, but unfortunately the $100,000 of the
one I liked is well out of my price range. I’d have
to mortgage my house and also find a good divorce
lawyer :).

Regards Bluebottle
