This is a good point. A 6/8 time signature has two strong beats per measure
just as 4/2, 4/4, or 4/8 do. Thus it can simulate march rhythm, some martial
hymns be examples of such. A 9/8 time sugnature has three strong beats per
measure. I encountered these several when I scored and registrated the hymns
in my chruch's hymnbook for two-staff organ.
