I guess it's a copy error.

I don't know weather you are comparing bar 35 to
80 or some of the other bars around there, but
they seem identical to me (the score I'm looking
at right now is Bärenreiter 5176) - apart from
the pedal note which is in different octaves.

Thanks, The fugue tempo is critical for a 2 in-the-bar 6/8. I can take the tempo to quaver = 190 but will it take it to the gigue tempo? Very 'detache'...
