Greetings, folks.
The Bone Doctor here, returning from a camping expedition in Townsend.
At the main Walnut Hill website,
http://theatreorgans.com/walnuthill/WurliTzer.htm
things they are a changin'.
We now feature the fine work of Tom Hoehn, a wonderful Florida based
organist who plays in theatres, restaurants and churches, and is
quite active in the TPO world. Tom's music is like a breath of fresh
air. He has an outstanding pedal style bolstered by his tasteful use
of the many toys on the big TPO at Grace Baptist Church in Sarasota,
Florida. We have fifteen gems from this gifted player linked on our
site. Do go give them a listen.
Also new is the works of Owen Jones. This fellow has fire in his
music, which he plays on an organ he is building, the first VTPO
featured at Walnut Hill, and a unique instrument, indeed. Owen has
converted a Conn 651 into a monster digital TPO with three full
bolsters loaded with stop tongues controlling 31 ranks. WOW! This has
to be seen to be believed. At his site, there is a link to "Flight Of
THe Bumblebee" which he renders with incredible pizzaz. At our site,
there are three of his other tunes linked. Ye gotta hear Owen play.
Go, Owen , go!
The Walnut Hill Mighty WurliTzer website is getting big. Over 670
people visited us between 4/8/2004 and today, 5/9/2004. WOW again!
Thanks to all who came out on this, our first month of operation.
The length of the page at WHMW is so long that we are about ready to
introduce version 4, a total revamp that will include pages and
navigation widgets to make getting around and finding content much
easier, while improving the overall look of the site. We shall keep
the existing page up for a bit, but we will be steering visitors
slowly over to the new pages.
The main URL will not be changed.
We thank all once again for helping to make our site one of the top
TPO destinations in the world.
God bless and happy playing.
