Hey Knights,
Man, I have drum corps fever the worst I've had it since 1987. I
sure hope my boss isn't paying attention to all of the time I've
spent on dci.org, drumcorpsplanet.org and knightscorps.org at work
lately. I read about some of the senior and alumni corps and think
"Wouldn't it be awesome to have a Knights reunion corps and play some
greatest hits, like Superstar, Russlan and Ludmilla, Notte a Roma (am
I the only one that didn't march 84 that loved that song?) and some
other stuff from the 70's and 90's?" Sure would help people remember
a corps that seems to be all but forgotten except by us, the alumni.
I'm really looking forward to Saturday. Not just the show, but the
party before, to see some old familiar faces and meet some new ones
that wore the uniform before and after I did. BTW, I have an extra
ticket if anyone needs one and wouldn't mind sitting next to me, my 2
daughters and my mom. It's in section F, row 45, which I think is
about 2/3 of the way up in the lower section on about the 30 yard
line. I paid $55, but if you want it, I'll sell it at a discount.
I'm going to go through my box of memories and hopefully bring any
nuggets of memorabilia with me (pictures, etc).
Hope to see you there!
