ps- This is a sad note. A friend of mine knew the remarkable drummer
George Javori who died in late 2005. He was in his early 30s but had
recorded and toured with numerous musicians (including Joan Baez,
Natalie Merchant, Shivaree, Katell Keineg, Erin McKeowan, Firewater,
Kate & Anna McGarrigle, and Jeff Buckley). There is a musical
tribute in his memory at the Sin-E (New York) at 8pm on Wednesday the
8th of March. For details about George's life and the musical
tribute night, see http://funpalaceentertainment.com/javori
