KING DIAMOND fans were treated to a surprise guest appearance at
Friday's (April 21) sold-out gig at Kåren in Gothenburg,
Sweden. "This is someone very close to the KING DIAMOND family,"
vocalist King Diamond said as current MOTÖRHEAD drummer Mikkey Dee
appeared behind the drum set and kicked off "Halloween" from the
group's 1986 debut album "Fatal Portrait". Dee was the band's
original drummer and played on the classic albums "Fatal
Portrait", "Abigail" and "Them" until he left in 1988 to join DON
DOKKEN. He returned a year later as a session player on KING
DIAMOND's "Conspiracy". Tonight's gig marked Dee's first live
appearance with KING DIAMOND in aeons.

The setlist for the Gothenburg show was as follows:

01. Funeral
02. Arrival
03. Mansion In Darkness
04. The Family Ghost
05. Black Horsemen
06. Spare This Life (playback)
07. Mansion In Sorrow
08. Sorry Dear (playback)
09. Come To The Sabbath
10. Eye Of The Witch
11. Drum Solo
12. Sleepless Nights
13. Blood To Walk
14. So Sad
15. Living Dead (outro playback)
16. Welcome Home
17. The Invisible Guests
18. Halloween (Mikkey Dee on drums)
19. Evil

Stay Heavy!
Phil
