This is a response to the fabulous news that TNS have a wonderful new
release out on July 13th called 'Its Been Too Long The Greatest Hits and
More' which features for the first time ever the group's hits from Polydor
and CBS making it unique. Plus it has 6 brand new recordings on including 2
fabulous medleys. Of course there is an element of 'commercial reasons' for
the release, is that not why record labels release albums? I am not entering
into your discussion about this being a real group other than to say that
the hits are the original recordings so not sure of your gripe here? It
would be very remiss for TNS not to mark their 40th year by not releasing a
Best of and to have 6 new recordings makes it extra special, particularly
with the album being TV advertised. As for your other comments, discussing
something that you know nothing about can be very risky! Really sorry that
you 'don't get it'!

Subject: [The New Seekers] Re: new seekers
I can't believe we are been subjected to another greatest hits cd?? This cd
is purely for commercial reasons knowing that all fans will buy it. How
many times have we bought Id like to teach? I thought at least we were going
to get a new version with the prague orchestra?? If this is representing a
real group and not just a copy act of the New Seekers its time they moved
on. Its especially bad that when we read in other quarters that the people
actually singing on the hits aren't been paid a penny. Very disappointing
news Nic especially when you've been building the news up for so long.
A very disappointed and ripped of New Seeker fan
