Hi Lori,
I'll try and catch you up on the latest:
- The band now consists of John Schlitt, Bob Hartman back on guitars
(we don't really know yet if that's permanent), Greg Bailey on bass,
and a guy named I think Justin on drums. (Louie Weaver left the band
within the past couple of months.)
- The latest new album is called "Revival", released in 2001. It's
sort of a "Petra Praise 3", very cool, produced by two fo the founding
members of SonicFlood: http://tinyurl.com/ckhl
- A brand-NEW CD is coming out in August! Yesterday the title was
announced: "Jekyll and Hyde". Not too much else is known about it
except to insiders, although we know Peter Furler of the Newsboys is
producing it and an MP3 of the title track will be available for
download from inpop.com on June 2. Link to CD:

details as they become available.
- Don't be confused by CDs you will see called "Still Means War" and
"The Power of Praise". These are compilations of old Word Records
material. However, "Still Means War" is interesting in that it
includes a track from an out of print CD that has never been on a
Petra release before, "Onward Christian Soldiers". All the songs are
remastered as well. SMW: http://tinyurl.com/cki2 POP has nothing you
can't get elsewhere really, although it may be remastered too. It
comes out in July. http://tinyurl.com/cki6
- I don't know when you lost track of Petra, but they have been
steadily making CDs all the time! They've never gone more than 2
years between releases. Check out my site at
http://www.GuideToPetra.com to read all about it! (Direct to album
list: http://www.guidetopetra.com/discography.html )
