No, Newsboys Lead singer Peter Furler did not play with Petra. That was Greg
Bailey, they just both happen to be bald.

Well this might be as close to a Petra reunion as we get right now.
However, Bob Hartman, and John Schlit have teamed up to do a live
worship CD. I dont know when it is going to hit stores. But go to the
Petraband.com web site and check out the details.
Maybe this will lead to a reunion in the future.
Also Newsboys is touring with Kutless right now. Newsboys lead singer
played base for Petra during their last CD, and tour.
