FreedomFilmFest2007 Competition - 7 Days Left!!

Got a story to tell the world but just don't know how or where to do it?

Put that idea for a social film on paper and submit before April 6th (that's next friday)!

KOMAS (Pusat Komunikasi Masyarakat), a non-government organization is organizing the FreedomFilmFest (FFF2007) and is on the look-out for daring human rights stories to be made into film. This year we are jumping onto the "Merdeka" bandwagon by featuring the theme of Malaysia's 50^th year of Independence. We dare you to unearth stories of the social reality of Malaysia after 50 years of Independence!

The 3 best film proposals will be awarded a RM5,000 grant each to make your proposal into a film! Winners will also receive the Justin Louis Award and the completed films will premiere at the annual FreedomFilmFest2007 screenings with other international Human Rights films in September & October 2007 in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Johor.
