In conjunction with the Australian Film Festival at TGV KLCC on 4 & 5

August, Australian actor, director, producer and author Denise Roberts will

be in town to lead a Filmmaking Workshop at the Annexe, Central Market on

Saturday, 4 August  from 10am to 1pm.  Denise will share her experiences of

what works in a script, writing and acting for film and television, the

three act structure, creating characters and empathy. Denise has won an AFI

Award, four Silver Logies and a Film Critics Circle nomination. Denise was

the concept creator and associate producer of the 10 part ABC series

Correlli. She is a published author: Get Your Act Together: The Actor’s

Advisory Manual. She is best known for her roles in GP, Always Greener,

Wild Side, The Dish, and Road To Nhill. Stairwell, a short thriller

directed by Denise, was selected for screening at the Los Angeles

International Short Film Festival.
