Ari was a very cute teenager.
I remember taking a taxi with her and her mum
(who was dating Spedding at the time) once in 1975 or '76.
We were heading back to central London from a party or something.
In the cab Ari told me she was going to call her band The Slits.
I loved it. Punk was just starting.

London was great back then.
