I just got off stage with
Jon Paris and Steve Holley at
BB King's in NYC.
Sweat is drying as I type this from
my flat.

OK..Fair point. But...What is rock n roll?

Santo and Johnny?
The Flamingoes?
The Drifters?
Elvis?
Beatles?
Stones?
T Rex?
The Sweet?
The Sex Pistols?
Clash?
The Swell Maps?
Dead Boys?
New Kids on the Block?
Nirvana?
Jet?

The words "rock n roll" have been rendered meaningless
by the whore music press.

For me, rock n roll is and always will be
Chuck Berry, The Shirelles, Little Richard and
Don Covay. It's honest and direct.

But that's my opinion.
It's all interpretation.

Malcolm MacLaren hated rock n roll,
and wanted to kill it just for the fun of it, and
he sort of did for a couple of years.
It was kind of like Grot Ent's
on "The Fall and Rise of Reggie Perrin."

I liked Malcolm, the cheeky sod.
