I agree entirely, It was never mclarens vision but also it was never a
compromise, It was a genuine surprise - that / then he manipulated into his own
working formulae, and made his reputation and money upon !

like that were Jones' influence), and they played very
well. Mix in the totally unique frontman Lydon and it
was an experience to behold on stage.
But it wasn't Malcolm's initial vision. It became a
compromise.
