After a long dry spell, February finally arrived, bringing with it 5
great shows! It started with a fun filled night in Bloomington,
Indiana on Feb. 11th, then again on Feb 12th in Logansport, Indiana.
These were two wonderful shows, and it was so good to see my friends
and catch up on all the happenings! We had two days of socalizing,
then dinner...followed by a couple of LONG overdue shows.

We had so much fun that we followed it up again on Tuesday night in
Springboro, Ohio, at LaComedia Dinner Theatre. When I arrived at the
venue, I got an extra suprise...I ran into longtime fans from Biloxi,
Mississippi. Unfortunately, they lost their home to Hurricane
Katrina, and had to relocate to Ohio, but on the upside, they made it
out of the gulf area in good shape...and they were ready to have a
wonderful evening with THE VAN-DELLS! It was really nice talking to
them, and I am so thankful that everything has turned out well for
them. I'm sure I'll be running into them at several more shows later
on this year!

Then, Friday and Saturday night, it was time for MORE fun! The Van-
Dells made a two night appearance at The Newport Syndicate in
Newport, Kentucky. We opted to buy the "cheaper" general admission
seats, so we had a side view of the stage, but that didn't put a
damper on the fun! We screamed when the band "sang for us" and waved
our lights just like always! Paul spotted us and smiled...that always
makes our night complete!

Yes, February has been a GREAT month, and on Friday we are off to
Columbia, Illinois to catch the last show for Februay.

For being a "short" month, it sure has been action packed!
