charity auction item:

It’s one of the most famous record sleeves of all
time: Led Zeppelin’s HOUSES OF THE HOLY, the follow-up
to the classic album LED ZEPPELIN IV. You know it—it’s
the one from 1973 with the Zeppelin monsters like “The
Rain Song,” “The Song Remains the Same” and the hits
“D’Yer Maker” “Dancing Days” among the stellar tracks.
It’s an album that is among heavy metal’s finest
hours. Now check out the rest of the story: The
sleeve, designed by famed album cover artist
Hipnogsis, is signed by the artist, Aubrey Powell.
This original limited edition lithograph is in full,
vibrant color. Measuring 26" x 33," this grand-scaled
rendering of the surreal and psychedelic image is a
must-own for the Zeppelin fan and/or the art lover. We
are please to count this among the most unique and
beautiful items in the current auction benefiting
People for the American Way. It rare and
ultra-collectible piece came to us directly from the
personal collection of the President of Atlantic
Records, Ron Shapero, a dedicated supporter of
progressive values and principles. Zeppelin ARE
rock’n’roll; own a piece of the rock and bid now.
