I am an artist researching a project around the early days of the
mighty Zeppelin. I am researching an archive called `A Real Rock
Archive', focusing on the godfathers of rock with a West Midlands
connection, and I'm trying to track down people that were there at
the beginning, at the early gigs, rehearsals, parties etc. The first
few years of the bands life.

I'm then collating their stories/photos/memorabilia in to an on-line
archive which will also form the basis for an exhibition in a brand
new multi million pound arts centre in Sandwell, West Bromwich, in
2007.

In particular, I'm interested in quirky memorabilia i.e. rather than
signed records etc., I'm interested in if somebody had a pint with
one of the band and kept the pint glass or bummed a fag and kept the
butt etc.

I should clarify that this project is born out of a genuine love of
rock music and its surrounding history. Much of the work I make is
based around this and this project, in particular, is an amazing
opportunity for me to indulge a passion in the form of work.
