Some of you have met Jeff in person and have this
iconization thing going on in your heads, like he is some
kind of demi god, something of another world, with
super human, etherial qualities. People I know who have
met Jeff say quite the opposite: they say he is rude,
arrogant, smug and has an over-inflated opinion of himself.
He is intolerant, impatient, easily rattled, and
seemily snobbish - not to mention unappreciative. They
have one word, or maybe two to describe Jeff Ament,
and gorgeous, nice guy and talented, while possibly
true for some of you, are not the words used to
describe him. I believe their sentiments were something
along the lines of, "that guy is such an asshole --
man, what a dickhead."<br><br>I have gone over some of
the posts in here and have read everything from posts
on his talent and creativity, which I must admit I
have to lend credit to -- to posts about where he
lives and who he may be screwing currently or in the
past! I have to shake my head in shame at the latter.
Who cares? If Jeff Ament prefers much younger women,
perhaps it is because he is so vain that being with a
woman his own age would remind him too much that he
himself is no longer a spring chicken -- or rooster --
whatever. And Stone dating a much younger woman -- well,
perhaps he isn't clueless -- just insecure like
Jeff.<br><br>I am not going to tell you people to get a life.
This is, after all, a forum to exchange thoughts,
opinions and sophomric fantasies, and I certainly am
entitled to mine -- minus the fantasy part. <br><br>Jeff
isn't my type. I prefer men more educated and much
sharper. Jeff isn't exactly the sharpest knife in the
drawer. <br><br>I guess if I really had to pick a band
member -- if they were the last men on earth that is --
I would choose Mike McCready for his sense of
humor, openness, kindness, and over all sincerity. But I
will never have that option, nor would I want it, so I
guess that is kind of a moot point. And I guess there
is no point to anything I am posting, but it can't
be any more pointless than some of the posts I have
read. As stated, it is an opinion -- to which I am
entitled!
