Hi Paula and welcome!
Of course that's enough to make you a fan! This site is acutally pretty
much inactive these days. I invite you to join the Forum, where you can meet
loads of Tiger Lilly fanatics. Go to the Tiger Lillies website
www.tigerlillies.com Click on "Discuss the Tiger Lillies here" on the home page
and sign up.
As for the lyrics - there's a Tiger Lillies book available (see the website)
that has all their lyrics. It's a wonderful book, but it's a bit expensive.
There's probably a link, ask when you join up.
Where are you? I am in New York, but originally from Leeds. I hope to come over
in April when they are celebrating their 20-year anniversary.

Hello All,
Paula Gaon here. I'm new to the group, just found
out about the Tiger Lillies from a friend who's studying
English as a foreign language with me, using their lyrics.
Is that enough to make me a fan? The Tiger Lillies are
an acquired taste, not for the faint of heart. In any case,
I've acquired a taste and would like to find lyrics to all songs
from Mountains Of Madness. Anyone here know a source.
Cheers,
Paula

Good evening my fellow sinners,
I'd like to encourage you to sign up and vote for your favourite Tiger
Lillies tracks on our very own Tiger Lillies Junkbox which is now
playing our forum members' favourite Tiger Lillies tracks. It's their
20th Anniversary this year, so in anticipation of their shows in April
we thought we'd ask you all to contribute.
If you go to www.tigerlilliesforum.com and sign yourselves up you can
be kept up to date with all the latest news and random chat concerning
the band.
We're also going to be organising a couple of flyering days in London
so it would be great to hear from anyone willing to help. Normally
there are about 5 or 6 of us who wander the streets aggravating the
locals and then head to a drinking establishment for a few cold beers
courtesy of yours truly. Feel free to drop me a message if you'd like
to know more, my username is Shockheaded Jen.

Hi Jay,
I don't know if anyone else has replied to you, sorry if I'm repeating what you
already know! I am in New York, BTW.
This Yahoo is group pretty much no longer used. Suggest you go into the Tiger
Lillies website www.tigerlillies. com & click on where it says "Discuss the

& info. We are a very friendly bunch!! Or you can go in direct at
www.tigerlilliesfor um.com - click on Wellington the Sheep and you're in!! You
can join for free.
From the main TL website, their upcoming gigs are listed under "Live". They're
not in
Los Angeles anytime soon - they're playing one night in SF on 11/03 before
heading to New York. That's all in California, but you could do a road
trip...they' re worth it!!

Hi Goda,
I'm not sure what kind of paper you want to write - but I love your subject!!
There's a lot of technical stuff on the website www.tigerlillies.com
Click on LIVE then TECHNICAL to get all their specs for a live show.
Good luck.

Hi everyone,
could someone tell me more about the show elements Tiger Lillies do on
stage? I'm writing a paper on Tiger Lillies for my audiovisual arts
class at the university and I've only been to one concert of theirs.
I'd really apreciate some help.
Thanks in advance,

Hello Goda,
I'm not sure I can describe the "show elements" (and TL are rather
minimalistic in terms of audivisual "stuff", unless you count rubber
chickens, plastic flies and toy hammers they kick them with :) ), but
perhaps some pictures will help you, here's mine:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/mbravo/sets/72157600353699955/
and here's some from my brother:

Hope this helps!

P.S. quite offtopic, but, incidentally, the latest set of pics on my

Thanks :) I prepared them for uploading a little bit in hurry, so some of
them a bit noisy. The light was not perfect there and it was quite difficult
to shoot from hands. But there are a few pictures there which please me :)
