Wonderful pictures, Alexandr! I especially like the one that focuses on
the strings of the Stout's bass - I don't know if it was intentional,
but it's a great photos... :)

Thanks :) I prepared them for uploading a little bit in hurry, so some of
them a bit noisy. The light was not perfect there and it was quite difficult
to shoot from hands. But there are a few pictures there which please me :)

Dearest deviants,
We need your help! The Lillies are looking for someone to help them
record some footage from one of their preview shows, which can be used
to help their PR and Marketing team spread the good word around the
world. If you are a competent video producer and have access to
broadcast quality equipment, we want to hear from you! It doesn't
matter if you're a student or a professional - just someone who is
willing to help out. In addition to attending this preview night next
month, we'll even make sure you have a few free badges and a pint
waiting at the bar afterwards. (And you can't say fairer then that...)
Please contact Welly or myself if you think you can help, or know
someone that can.

Shockheaded Jen

Hey Karen,
Sure, if you want! Lots of people have a couple of questions, some a
few more. If it gets a bit mad I'll let you know, but so far we're
ok! Jen x

I had an idea to present a CD with Vertinsky's songs to Martin during TL
show in St.-Petersburg, Russia last year. But didn't find a moment for that

ITV.com interview
ITV:
It's quite tense at times, with beautiful arrangements, and a
beautiful live full orchestral sound. It's a bit like the way they
would have recorded, say, an Edith Piaf album or something.
Martyn Jacques:
I'm very pleased with it. They're mainly Tiger Lillies songs, but
there's also `My Funny Valentine' which is by Hart and Rodgers I
think, and there's also a song inspired by ALEXANDER VERTINSKY, who
was a very famous Russian cabaret singer from the `20s to the 40s,
one of the few people who Stalin didn't kill, something about him
being a poet.
He wrote a beautiful song called `Yellow Angel', and I adapted the
lyrics with the help of some Russian friends.

I've done a quick check around the websites that I know in the
meantime, and the best flight seems to be British Airways to Heathrow
at $808, and it's a direct flight which is all the better. Air Canada
to Heathrow are a little bit cheaper at $735 although there would be
a stop in either Vancouver or Toronto. Then there's US Airways to
Gatwick at $803, but again they stop in either Philadelphia or
Charlotte.
Those are all for the week from the 16th April to the 23rd -
Wednesdays are the cheapest day to fly, and that week seems to be the
best-priced one in April.
I'll have a check at work tomorrow anyway, just in case there's
anything else I can find.

It does say on the site for the Soho Theatre that seats are not
allocated, but it does actually issue them. If you look at your email
confirmation, you'll see them on there - it'll probably say A1, A2,
A3 etc. I'm pretty sure you'll be in the front row... ;o)

It does say on the site for the Soho Theatre that seats are not
allocated, but it does actually issue them. If you look at your email
confirmation, you'll see them on there - it'll probably say A1, A2,
A3 etc. I'm pretty sure you'll be in the front row... ;o)

Heh, I don't think he'd be upset, just highly embarrassed - I
couldn't do that to the poor chap!
Miss O, if you need any help with flights, I work for an airline so
might be able to see what kind of deals I can get for you? It'd be
cool if you could come over...

*waves* Can I still say hello to you guys on the 7th? Bit nervous
about going on my own...
Me, I actually have a lot of admiration for Mr Stout, because it was
watching him play that inspired me to take up music again. I would go
up and thank him, but it'd probably just embarrass him and make me
look like a bit of a fruit-loop.

Oh that's so nice that you know her! I'm sure she is wonderful, and I truly hope
she doesn't care about silly women (me!!!!) fantasizing about him.
Last night I played "Alone with the Moon" which is my favorite song, for my
bro-in-law and he just didn't get it.
