1. Brownsville/Haywood County TINA site bus tour 10:00 am to 12:30 pm
$25.00 adults - $10.00 children 6-12

25.00 dollar fee includes Musical Heritage Driving Booklet. Guided
tour sponsored by Haywood County. Will start from the Tennessee Delta
Heritage Center, Exit 56 in Brownsville, and will visit local TINA
sites that include Carver High School, Tina Turner Highway 19, her
birth place in Nutbush, sites that inspired the classic song 'Nutbush
City Limits'

1.) TINA fan breakfast at 'Lovelaces", (Brownsville) 7:00-10:00 am
menu range $2.99-$5.99
Located directly across from the Town Square in Brownsville; Town
Square is new location of the TINA TURNER HIGHWAY dedication ceremony.
If you plan to attend breakfast please inform us by Sept. 26, 2002,
so the owner can plan ahead for the 'special TINA theme breakfast.
Let's show some TINA spirit in her hometown, she deserves this, we
can make the community TINA PROUD!
You will pay as you order at Lovelaces, located 18 e. Main St. Pre
registration required.

2.) TINA TURNER HIGHWAY DEDICATION RALLY. Brownsville Court House
Square. 10:00-11:30 am

CONGRATULATIONS TINA FANS! THROUGH YOUR PETITIONS YOU HAVE HELPED TO
OFFICIALLY GET THE NAME HIGHWAY 19 CHANGED TO 'TINA TURNER HIGHWAY 19'
It is located Bownsville, Nutbush & Ripley Tennessee and is the
highway she sings about in her classic song, Nutbush City Limits.
Her family, friends, and fans will meet in front of the Haywood
County Courthouse in Brownsville (main street). Saturday morning for
a fromal dedication program.
Focus and theme: Tina Turner Dynamic Contribution to West Tennessee
Tourism
Native to Nutbush, formally known as Anna Mae Bullock, Tina Turner
has contributed much to the West Tennessee Tourism in the area of
arts and entertainment. She has risen to become one of the most
internationally known artist in HISTORY. She is represented in many
books, including Tennessee history. many fans have visited her
birthplace and girlhood home. We take this time to celebrate her
accomplishments.

3.) HIGHWAY SIGN UNVEILING) Brownsville to Nutbush
12:30-1:30
fans will lineup cars and proceed down TINA TURNER HIGHWAY 19 to the
sign location in Nutbush for the unveiling. fans can have banners on
their cars, etc. Following the unveiling, take a break or proceed to
the outdoor FAN SOCIAL.
Place to line up cars will be determined.
the Fan Social will be a a great way for us to visit and listen to
live music, a tribute to Tina, there will be an open mic invitation
for any fan that wants to perform.
We will have famed Tina Turner tribute artist Dorothy Cole from
Alabama. She performs live vocals as a very loving tribute to her
favorite and our TINA.
Cover for this is $10.00 for adults $5.00 children 7-17
Food vendors will be on site.
This area is out in the country and is a real blast to kick up your
heels and rock TINA style. This event will last as long as fans wish.
