that I went on ebay and typed Tony Carey in the search box. Then I bid and won
bids. I haven't checked lately, but there's usually a good selection of Tony's
material for up for bid. Then, if you haven't found it yet, there's a website
called truebeliever.de, Tony himself has some involvement in this site and I
understand that between him and his brother they are working out a way to
purchase his newer material. I haven't visited this website lately because I
still have some resentment over the fact that a lady was allowed to promote the
selling of one of Tony's CD's on this website, encourageing people to pay by
money order or bank transfer, and then never sent out the CD. I don't think I
was the only one burned on this deal, and I would be interested to hear from
others who might have also gotten taken. In any case she apparently no longer
works with Tony or the website. I am just suprised that the
website has not acknowleged this situation or done anything to rectify it. So
for now I'm still a little burned, but in time I'll probably get over it. It's
hard to let $50 get in the way of being a fan of Tony's music and giving up
access to having anything new that he produces. Based on what I have heard (1931
& Island and Deserts), his new stuff is every bit as good as the stuff you're
probably more familliar with. Hope this info helps. Tom.

I am dying to know where I can order all of Tony Carey's CDs --
especially his very early releases such as "Some Tough City", "Blue
Highway" and the one that has one of my all-time favorite songs "I
Won't Be Home Tonight".

Please inform -- anyone.
