Don't think a "Scodwell inspired" horn is possible. The unique thing about
Tony's horns is that Tony is a virtuoso trumpeter and play tests each
instrument. He contracts out the work for making the bells and valve
clusters, so he just makes the leadpipe and solders the horn together. He
still takes around 40 hours per trumpet because he plays then tweeks the
instrument until it blows and resonates the way he wants it to play. No
factory can duplicate that attention to detail.
