Re: Hello!

Hello Becca and welcome. Yes I remember your
husband and his sister. It happened to be 4th July as
well.
It's hard to know where to start with Sean
Nós singing. Here are a few
links:

http://www.singerscircle.com/
Some good links from here.
http://www.cic.ie/
A
recording label and a good place to buy recordings of Sean
Nós singers.

Another great idea, but an
expensive one, would be to arrange your vacation to
coincide with some of the Summer Schools in Ireland. You
can attend week long tuition on any Irish musical
instrument or traditional singing in either English or
Irish.
I am attending the South Sligo Summer School
at present. It's great fun and a great place to meet
fellow enthusiasts . This is preceeded by the Willie
Clancy Summer School in Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare and
followed by the Joe Mooney Summer School in Drumshambo Co.
Leitrim.!!
3 weeks of music, singing, drinking and fun
Well
thats enough for now.
Cheers

Frank Finn
