Well, as I've already posted a couple of messages
to this list, I guess I should introduce myself.
I am an artist and singer in Montana, USA.
I have a few web sites of information...
http://www.aliceflynn.com
http://www.themeadowlark.com
and sound tracks at
http://www.mp3.com/AliceFlynn
I found this group because I know of the
Nenagh Singers Circle and share a link to their
site as they did to mine. When I emailed to them
to update the URL of my link I was looking at what
other sites they link to from the Nenagh web page and
clicked on this group's link.
Thank you, Mr. Finn, for letting me and others
wander into your Sligo Singers Club email list. I've
been on the Mudcat forum discussing music for 5 years, which is
my connection to the Nenagh folks, and peruse the archives
of IRTRAD and the tune site of www.thesession.org.
Going back over some previous messages on this list
I noticed some questions asked about examples of sean nós.
I have an excellent example on my web site, a radio
program in memory of Joe Heaney. Go to my home page
at http://www.aliceflynn.com , click on Enter Music and
scoll down the page to the Joe Heaney audio link to
a show produced by Ron Olesko.
Another archive of sample sound files in Galway can be found
from a link on my mp3 page, http://www.mp3.com/AliceFlynn.
