Wow. Its been 6 years. I never realized what this would turn into when
I started it back when Yahoo! groups first opened. (It was Yahoo!
clubs back then). I just wanted to give everyone a head's up. In a
couple of weeks I'm going to open the membership back up for anybody
w/o needing approval. I'm also going through the links and weeding.
I'd really like to see some discussion start up again. Personally, I
would like to hear from those who picked it back up after not playing
for an extended (2+ years) period of time. To get the discussion
started, I'll start off. Its been over 4 years since I last played.

I'm no longer a high school student. I picked up my trombone for the
first time since May of 2000 this week. I'm helping teach (corrupt?)
the trombone section at the middle school I sub at. I really regret
not keeping up with my playing. Oh well. I was amazed that I still had
most of my range, although I had very little stamina. Any suggestions
on teaching second and third year players?

Matt Andrews
