i am actually bongo player of a salsa band and i would like to start
learning trombone but in a latin way.
i don't know nothing about trombone or solfege so i have some
questions to ask to you dear experienced members of the group:

Is it possible to learn this instrument in a latin way, without
passing by a clasical road (as you can for example with the bass in
salsa)?

Which brand and tonality of trombone would you advise me ?

Starting from 0 level how many years will i need to have an honest
level in an amateur's salsa group?
