RE: [tubefex] Problem with my tubefex, any input from owners...

I don't have any specific help for you, other than if it were me I'd
send it back to Peavey if at all possible. They can go through it and
fix whatever needs fixing and give it a thorough inspection, and you
know they'll do it right. Probably would be faster too...

Hope you get it figured out...
Paul

Subject: [tubefex] Problem with my tubefex, any input from owners...

Hiya, I've owned my tubefex/pfc/boss pedals since 95, now there is no
Peavey dealership close by since the store I bought it from is long
gone.

Battery is recently replaced on it.

What happened is the effects started cutting out, I cant get the guitar
sound to come through (although a slightly weak sound still comes
through if the amp is on loud enough) and when I turn on the tuner, the
guitar sound comes through as I tune.

So I thought it was the preamp tubes. I replaced them (Groove tubes
classic) and the tubefex worked for about 3 minutes, I turned on the
tuner to tune my guitar and switched back to play and the effects cut
out, so I was back to step one again.

I have it sitting in an electronics shop (1-2 week wait in line)
anything I can provide information-wise could help this Electronics tech
to resolve/pinpoint the problem? anyone?
