Hello, I'm new to the group, and just got a Peavey Tubefex. I am in
the process of getting the 2.0 upgrade, which as you probably know,
requires sending the old EPROM back to Peavey to get upgraded. So, I
can't play the unit right now. But I did do some quick run-throughs
first, and I am thinking that some new tubes may be in order,
especially since I have the unit open anyway waiting for the new
chip. While I'm waiting for it, I thought I'd see if anyone has any
tube recommendations for the Tubefex. Looking to play mostly classic
rock (Zep, SRV, Cream, etc.) to a bit heavier (EVH) if that helps.
Any recommendations? Thanks!
