Per Maddie's request, here are some additional comments/praise for
Hello/Goodbye1's "George and the Wilburys" DVD:

A fair amount of the DVD had George and Olivia interviews regarding
the Romanian Relief; some of the footage's repeated since they were
basically different cable channels culling the same footage from the
other spots, but for me, better more than less, I can always fast-
forward... Some of it's interesting as well, such as George
explaining why he didn't feel particularly led to even visit the
nurserys, etc.

But the super parts were the unused Wilbury MTV/VH1 interview footage
with Tom and George; it was priceless to see them both (and Jeff
occasionally) just getting real goofy in the interviews. It was also
heartwarming to see George clearly enjoying his on-camera time, ad-
libbing the various "origins" of the Wilburys, totally straight-
faced; Tom would chime in occasionally, totally off-the-cuff.

You can't truely appreciate the goofy richness of the 'Wilbury Twist'
until you see George and Tom hamming it up in their seats in the
Canadian interview (near the end of the DVD). These segments are
asily worth the "price of admission". In midst the din of that rather
jocular segment, George even fit in some incredibly insightful and
frank comments about global pain/suffering and how society ignores it
all. As in the other interview segments, you get both the actual
televised interviews, plus another chapter featuring the interview
with lots of unused, hilarious portions.

One or two chapters are a bit tough to watch visually (most likely
due to the cheap VCR tapes it was recorded from), but the audio is
always excellent.

Can't say enough about it. For what, only about $25 with shipping,
it's definitely worth a look. Again, don't bother to outbid someone -
just wait for the next auction (he's got plenty..).

David B.
(Still the nameless Wilbury..)
