Marlo blew me away with the first draft of her Wonderjam 2004 essay, part truth - part fiction, based around The New Jack Hippies trip overseas to play with Carolyn Wonderland at her birthday fest in Holland.
It's a great read, with travel, music, kind bud and espionage all rolled together with a cast of characters many of you know. After all of our coffee shop visits, it's kind of hard for me to tell where the fiction kicks in from the reality! <g>

I'll be participating in David Fahl's 'THANKS BOB!' show at Super Happy Fun Land on Saturday night. It's a big show, with dozens of local artists performing the songs of Bob Dylan!
Speaking of Bob Dylan, Carolyn Wonderland told me that Bob enjoyed our Hippies.TV show from a couplke weeks ago, featuring her in Amsterdam last year. Neither of us know how he got a copy, but I suppose if you are Bob Dylan, you can do things like that!
Tonight (Friday), we'll be headed early to The Mucky Duck, where our Nashville buddy (and former drummer) Billy Block has lined up talent to audition for the next round of the NASHVILLE STAR televion series. The auditions will be held on the Mucky Duck stage from 8pm 'til 10pm, and we'd like as many of you to show up as possible (this will be videotaped for the show). They're charging $5 at the door, but Billy guarantees he'll give you a $6 show.
