*VIDEO REPORT FROM NASHVILLE (with 'TOO TALL', too!)
* WEEKEND MUSIC CALENDAR

Greetings from Nashville, Tennessee!

Here's some of the first video from the tour.

----------
VIDEO REPORT FROM NASHVILLE
Live Music Video from Tuesday's Showcase
----------
Guy Schwartz In Nashville
After his travelling partner bails on the tour, Guy
Schwartz assembles a band in three hours and
performs at Billy Block's Western Beat show at
12th & Porter. The band includes Travis 'Too
Tall' Bettis, Billy Block, Paul Westbrook & Brett
Rideout.

With only a few hours to go, I called home to Houston, to guitarist Big Al'' Bettis for his son Travis' phone #. I knew that Travis had come to Nashville for college, and stayed on for the music.

Travis, known as 'Too Tall' (for obvious reasons) is a fine guitarist on his own. He found a willing friend (Brett Rideout) to play bass. When I found out that the friend was actually a guitarist who was willing to play bass, I asked him to play guitar, and called Paul Westbrook (from Thinking Plyers) to grab the bottom end for me. Three hours later, with Billy Block on drums, we were onstage at 12th and Porter.

These guys rocked and made me look/sound great!
