It's Memorial Day Weekend.

Have fun.

Take a moment to remember.

If you are younger, endured lame American History classes in your high school, and not certain what your supposed to be remembering - hit me back and I can let you in on the Memorial Day deal.

Young or old,
our hats are off to all of those who have followed orders
and given their best for their country.

TONIGHT ON CABLE & ALWAYS ONLINE
New Shows on Cable & The Web!
----------
The 'Guy Schwartz In Nashville 2006' show from April will be on Houston Time-Warner Cable Channel 17 tonight at 10pm.

It's a somewhat better version of the same show that we posted online from our hotel room in April. If you watched it then, it's basically the same show with a bit more editing and tweaking on the sound (and cleaner and uncompressed compared to the web version)  - on TV for the first time.

But the bigger news is the video website upgrade at www.hippies.tv !

We've added new and old Hippies.TV shows featuring Michael Heyman, Mr. Scarface, Western Beat (with Jack Saunders, Rock 'Dr. Rockit' Romano, Billy Block, and more) and performances from South By Due East, my birthday jam and a classic show with Gloria Edwards and Trudy Lynn.

If you've never visited Hippies.TV on the internet, but enjoy video of Texas musicians, head on over and check some of our shows. Performers on Hippies.TV have included Little Joe Washington, Carolyn Wonderland, Tracy Conover, Vince Bell, BluesGuy, Chango Jackson, John Dee Graham,  SOUTH BY DUE EAST, Sonny Boy Terry, and of course, Guy Schwartz & the New Jack Hippies.

"I'VE GOT FOUR WATCHER'S!"
That's what she said...
----------
Last night, MArlo said to Mickey, "Thank goodness that they've finally put porn for women up on the web. They call it 'Ebay'!

I wasn't convinced...

I figured it was a joke, based loosely in reality.

I went to work on music, and she went to selling a copy of yesterday's rare EXTRA edition of the Houston Chronicle on Ebay, announcing the guilty verdicts of Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling in the Enron trial.

Just now, she screamed aloud, "I've got four watchers!"

Wow...

It IS porn for women!
