No time to elaborate if I'm going to get this news to you in time to join us tonight, but MArlo and I just drove home yesterday evening from 4 months on the road, slept hard, and there is a great show tonight, and another cool show on Saturday) to tell you about.

Billy and Guy host Western Beat Houston at it’s new location on Monday, Sept. 11 @ Blanco’s 3406 W. Alabama and will begin at 6pm with Nashville Star 5 auditions followed by a special Western Beat show with Buck Jones, Lisa Hayes, Idgy Vaughan, Billy Block, Guy Schwartz & The New Jack Hippies and you never know who’s going to show up

After that Roger & I will take off for a couple of Texas gigs in El Paso & Bandera with Buck Jones. We'll be back on Saturday night to
play at JP Hops House, and then I get to stay at home for a couple of weeks! Woohoo!

For the first time in months, Roger & I will have a chance to play a night of our songs together on Saturday night. We play at 9pm. JP Hops House is located at 2317 South Highway 6 just a block north of Westheimer.
Buck's driving us in his rig for the Texas dates, so I'll have some time with the laptop to fill you in on our adventures in the southeast.
We're looking forward to this trip with Buck. I've enjoyed his company (personally AND musicially) when we've hung out and played in Nashville and Houston, and it'll be exciting to watch him go back to tour & play as his first single, 'YOU ONLY CALL ME WHEN YOU'RE DRUNK', has hit the radio. Roger & I will also have time to learn how to play (live) some of the new songs which we've recently created and recorded in the studio.

I'll be around much of the month, so call me now, if we have stuff to do together!
