Guy & Roger's Online 420 House Concert Series #6 Tonight at 8pm   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #201 of 235 |
Our newest online experiment has been to perform free live shows from home and webcast them in real time.

You'll be able to see and hear from your computer!

If you have a cam, we'll be able to see you, too!

We're doing one tonight - Friday Night! At 8pm CDT, Roger Tausz & I will crank up the acoustic guitar and Fender bass to perform 6 or 10 of our songs as we chat with each other and our friends. I'll do it again (solo or w/ Roger) on Wednesday evening, May 14 at 9pm CDT.

This will happen at www.stickam.com/bluesguy

That's www dot stickam dot com slash bluesguy

Our first live show using this particular technology was my Birthday Jam in February (in our back yard), when Randy Soffar came over and webcast us on Stickam.com from his laptop. Randy had introduced me to the stickam technology a couple months earlier on my Imaginary Tour of Jams & Open Mics. At the birthday jam, my daughter Chelsea was the only one watching (from West Hollywood), as sets we're played by Mandy Mercier, Big Al Bettis, TC & The Cannonballs, as well as my own New Jack Hippies, but our one viewer was enough to give us all a big kick!

The other night, when we played acoustically from my video editing studio, we had 58 viewers/listeners visit us, including Big Rich from Ming's (and LeAnn), our buddy Dennis and his Mary, Ropeman & Markes from The Grow Room, Harold from Planet Texas Radio, Randy Soffar, Chelsea with Ryan Westbrook from The Thinking Plyers, and many new friends, as well!

If you miss us, some of the live shows are posted there - so you can watch/listen later, too!
