With all there is to do this weekend, why would someone choose to go party on Independence Day, July 4th, with Guy Schwartz & The New Jack Hippies at The Balinese Room in Galveston??

REPORT FROM THE GUERILLA CAGE

John Chupin has suddenly turned up on this side of town, and done a couple of gigs with us (it's been months). Last night, John asked if he and Philip Vallejo could use the studio for a couple hours fore rehearsal, so there wound up being two sessions over here. So - after Philip, Marcus and John rehearsed, Chaz, Roger, John and I recorded three cool new rhythm tracks.
The editing of the Heath Spencer Philip video special keeps moving ahead, and Marlo has begun working with Mike McGuire towards a visual/music/poetry presentation of POETRY IN THE REWIND at Diverse Works in September!

The New jack Hippies and I enjoyed our afternoon at SPACE PLACE on Sunday. The bbq and fruity things were exquisite, our band rocked, the Dead sets from Bonnaroo were great, and the pool was really wet!
