Notification for a "Beginners Sacred-harp workshop"
Saturday 30th September 2006, 2-5pm.

To be held at Llangyniew parish hall, 7 miles west of
Welshpool, mid Wales border. Nestling in the beautiful,
rolling green eastern foothills of the Cambrian mountains.

The workshop will be led by, and with thanks to Helen Brown
and Ian West.

Travel directions. Take the A458 west from Welshpool. From
the roundabout on the western edge of town (which is also
adjacent to the Llanfair-Caereinion light railway station)
proceed along the A458 for 6 1/2 miles. Then turn right onto
a minor road (the turning will be marked by a conspicuous
Shape-note sign). Proceed for approximately 1/4 mile along
this road until you find the Parish Hall on your left.
Car parking is 250 metres further along at the Parish Church.

The Parish Hall will be open from 10am for a coffee morning,
and remain open until completion of the afternoon workshop.
A collection will be held during the workshop to assist with
costs.
