Greetings to all and well done to all those involved in organisation of the UK
Convention.
I was asked for extra verses for Canal Street. The "first" verse (below the
notes) is
actually Verse 1 of Part 2 of Watts' CM version of Psalm 145. The following
verses
from the same Psalm seem to compliment it:
Thy grace shall dwell upon my tongue;
And while my lips rejoice,
The men that hear my sacred song
Shall join their cheerful voice.
Fathers to sons shall teach thy name,
And children learn thy ways;
Ages to come thy truth proclaim,
And nations sound thy praise.
Creatures with all their endless race
Thy power and praise proclaim;
But saints that taste thy richer grace
Delight to bless thy name.
If you know anyone who was there and would like these words but is not on this
list,
please forward them to them (Mick: Please forward to Anna.)
Regards to all
