Yeah, I have a konablaster too. I did a major overhaul on it though. Donıt
hate me, but Iım actually the retard that got himself shot. It wasnıt a
wammy bar, but a saddle. Iım actually surprised the story got around. I told
the guys at elderly about it, just for shits and giggles, I didnıt intend on
them recalling and redesigning it though. (or I wouldnıt have told them). I
moved the ³bridge² back and made it into a tailpiece and crafted another
bridge out of an old pothandle. I also replaced the pickup because the bass
pickup wasnıt lining up with the strings, so I used a humbucking ³rail²
pickup. I also put on strings I got from a set of LaBella Tapewounds, which
sound mellower and feel like bare nylon strings. They were actually the eadg
strings which when strung up on a ukulele can be easily tuned to dgbe, so
now itıs an electric baritone uke that feels like a soprano. Oh yeah I also
took off the blue vinyl sticker on the top and made a dark natural finish.
