November 5 Harvey Reid ($12) 8 PM

This 'Master Minstrel' is indeed incredible with his
peerless acoustic fingerstyle guitar work (National
Fingerpicking Champion) and his stellar mastery of
anything with strings including banjo, mandolin,
bouzouki, and fiddle. Harvey also holds the
International Autoharp Championship award. His musical
stylings are just a varied with a repertoire that
includes hip-folk, country, slide, blues, bluegrass,
old timey, Celtic, ragtime and classical. Of his dozen
or so still available albums, each are extended length
recordings and one is named as "One of the 10 Essential
Folk CD's of All Time". Tonight Harvey will enthrall us
with his wry humor and soft vocals in a relaxed,
front-porch-feel concert and he brings us his latest 2
disc set (155 minutes), "Dreamer or Believer".
