Named as "The best purveyor of cowboy music in America
today", Don's Western ballads paint tales of the day to
day lives and emotions of those who've lived it. The
quality of his music stems from the fact that he is so
much more than a singer: Don is an historian, author and
musicologist, well versed in cowboy lore and musical
traditions. One reviewer claims "the man's delivery is so
authentic it feels as if he invented the genre". He's
recorded over a dozen albums and portrayed Smokey in The
Horse Whisperer movie which also features Don's singing.
Tonight you can get his latest award winning CD, "Last of
the Troubadours, II". This is not country and western...
This is Western music and Don is the real deal.
