who are proving themselves to be leaders in the modern
folk music world, deserving of greater recognition. Some

Beth Wood - A lithe voice frames Beth's thoughtful
lyric-packed rhythmic pop-folk songs. Her 5 self produced
CDs reflect a constantly growing admiration of her works
by legions of fans nationwide and have earned her several
awards for Entertainer/Performer of the Year as well as
the Kerrville and Wildflower songwriter's contests.

Rick Yost - Three decades of performances across the US
and Europe honed Rick's fluid guitar stylings and
comfortable voice for his bluesy and jazzy folk-rock. A
winner of Wildflower and BW Stevenson songwriting
competitions, Rick is also adept on piano: You may have
heard his compositions on TV or in movies.

Gigi Cervantes - In a clear alto, Gigi shows why she's
received so many prestigious songwriting awards,
including first places from both the Dallas Songwriter's
Association and the Kerrville Festival Collegiate
Competition. Her leisurely paced love songs and gentle
sophisticated melodies are reminiscent of the best works
of Sarah McLachlan and Judy Collins.

Bruce Balmer - Our own Kerrville Festival "Discovery of
the Year" easily fits into several genres: Blues, Bossa
Nova, pop, modern folk and jazz. His stylings remind us
of Bruce Cockburn and his guitar virtuosity is
exceptional (he plays a 1959 Gibson Arch-Top). Bruce's
vocals are sincere and unvarnished and his songs often
celebrate a love for family and friends.
