March 11 Lowen & Navarro ($12/$15) 8 PM

Besides being a couple of really nice guys, Eric and Dan
are superb musicians. Their modern folk and rock
compositions are rich in vocal harmony, lingering melody
and mature, carefully developed lyrics. L & N have a
spark possessed by their legendary peers: Neil Young,
Jackson Browne, Trout Fishing, Everly Brothers, Daniel
Lanois... a love of vibrant and meaningful music. L & N
gave up a major label recording deal in order to maintain
their artistic integrity---they've released 9 albums---
and scored a Grammy Nomination for Pat Benatar when she
recorded their "We Belong". Dave Edmunds, the Bangles,
Dionne Warwick, The Four Tops and Temptations have also
recorded L & N's songs. Eric plays mandolin and 6 & 12
string and slide guitars while Dan provides rhythm guitar
and piano with their vocal harmonies.
