songwriter of England, whether solo or with his
legendary band, Clever Pennies. Tempered by decades
as a student of the cultures and traditional music
of his native NE England and of Scotland and Ireland,
Jez's rock solid songwriting reveals a fiery
optimistic heart for social justice. His shows have
a lively enthusiasm with his witty sing-alongs and
catchy tunes with their beguiling melodies and
inspired hook lines. Jez performs on guitar,
cittern, mandolin and dulcimer. It's a rare treat
